Bien que les suites proposées et que les outils soient déjà complets, ergonomiques, efficaces il reste quelquefois certains points sur lesquels nous souhaiterions voir queluqes améliorations ou nouveautés lors des nouvelles versions... voici une liste de propositions. En voyez vous d'autres ? (Afin d'augmenter la portabilité et la transmissibilité de cette liste avec les équipes de développement, nous utiliserons l'anglais pour en décrire le contenu.)
Dreamweaver
- Getting more information on the client FTP (remaining files, remaining time, errors files...).
- A 'Save all' default shortcut.
- A new palet 'modified recently' ... this palet will reflect the new modified files since the last synchronisation. Adding a check box in front of each items will allow to select or unselect all the files to be synchronised.
- Add a new item to the file management menu : Place all the modified linked document. When one edit a file and some linked document (css, js, php...) interesting to place all in one click without need to synchronize.
- Gatting specific options for each document, (memorise the document setting when close open it (i.e : split, design or code aspect, windows size...))...
- In the search and replace dialog box, allow the 'cloaking' function to be active or not (using a check box option).
- Beeing able to clear the informations of the FTP client panel (not the FTP Log).
- Allowing Encoding Charset Display setting directly from live preview.
- Improved roundtrip between DW and FW (CSS3 extracted, Sprite, Spry skin, jQuery mobile, prototype and tracingsrc, 960px grid mod, .lbi files extended, symbol replacement ...).
- Update dialog box (CSS wizard not palet), including CSS3, RGB and HSL color selector, selectors and filter attributes ...
- Allow DW to publish for Androïd (not only the debug file)
- Adding new paramTemplate (such Array)
- On the create table wizard, adding <tbody>, <thead> and <tfoot>
- On the create table wizard, adding <colgroup> and <col>
- Allowing to open and display two differents documents in the document area
- On the web site parameters, category 'local info', adding a specific 'Scripts' folder will be a plus
- Allowing to use different web URL in the same web site (i.e http://www.mysite.com for the web's files, http://www.myscriptscommun.net for librairies and http://www.mymedias.com for some heavy medias).
- When opening a javascript script file in code view, it will be interesting to have (at the top head) a pop up listing all the available functions in this document and when selecting one directly accessing the appropriate line in the document.
E-Learning Suite
- Add Fireworks in the tools set
- Allow round trip between FW native's PNG file format and CP (preserving layers, object, filter...)
- Opening FW symbol (at least buttons, but graphics and animations) preserving their 9 scale transformation.
- Using the same client FTP than DW and mixing web site definition.
- Make a round trip edition for style object between FW and CP. (import / export).
Captivate
- Getting an AS3 code scripting in within Captivate instead of the current Advanced Action
- Slidelet should accept interactiv object
- Nested slidelet should be allowed
- Making the object style an external file to facilitate the visual update
- Allow batch process for publish project
- Getting a better and easy to use integrated FMR solution
Fireworks
- Adding jQueryUI library as smart object
- Adding a prototyping and UX design library
- Adding a real connector line (betwwen shapes and sprite)
- CSS3 extract, and CSS3 export
- Replacing and updating the actual sub menu generation
- Improved roundtrip between DW and FW
- From within the commun library, beeing able to edit the original.
- Improved PDF export quality (transparence et Bitmap rendering)
- Adding tools for layering and displaying HTML grid
- Adding symbol and icon, in the web application / common library
- Reactivate Data-Driven Graphics Wizard
- Adding a sprite tool (simple and complex form)
- Activate a link between prototype and tracingsrc per page templates
- Activate a roundtrip link between 960px grid (DW and FW).
